I’m Tina Souza, chef and owner of Taste Catering and Events.
My love for food began early, but it was never about the pace or spotlight of a traditional restaurant kitchen. I was drawn instead to more personal, meaningful work—creating food that brings people together and experiences that feel intentional, warm, and memorable.
That philosophy continues to shape my work today. My approach to catering is chef-driven and highly customized, with each menu thoughtfully curated to reflect the client, the occasion, and the atmosphere they want to create. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, my goal is always the same: elevated yet approachable cuisine, crafted with care and attention to detail.
I’ve been cooking professionally since graduating from Newbury College in 2000, and my background spans a wide range of cuisines and styles. I’m experienced in accommodating allergies and dietary needs without sacrificing flavor or presentation—because everyone deserves to feel considered at the table.
At the heart of Taste Catering and Events is connection. I value collaborative relationships with my clients and take pride in making the planning process feel seamless and enjoyable. It would be an honor to cook for you and be part of creating lasting memories around the table.
